QUESTIONS

Parents are encouraged to attend the clinic as much as possible. As parents, we like to know what goes on with our children at all times. We encourage this along with any feedback.
We promote good sportsmanship and provide participants with consistent and positive reinforcement all day Teamwork is one of the trademarks of the camp.
Are coaches made up of high school coaches, college coaches, college players, metro and AAU coaches, and former players? There is a staff member on hand as well as CPR and First Aid certified staff to attend to minor scrapes and bruises. The coaches will all be required to have a CORI (background) & SORI check prior to the start of camp. The staff that we choose is normally high honors students in high school and college who are well respected in their respected communities, along with teachers.
Our staff-to-camper ratio is approximately 1:7. There will be no more than ten participants to a team, which allows maximum playing time for everyone. There will be smaller groups of instruction and as much individual attention as possible.
We have offered weekend workouts in the Fall for players to sharpen their skills to get ready for the upcoming season. We also offer a Winter Break Clinic in locations.
We have grown every year and last year. We have had approximately 750 campers over the summer and fall. Day camps usually run between 30-130 participants.
In today’s game fundamentals seem to be a lost art. The proper way to shoot a basketball, shooting off the dribble, how to set and roll off a screen, proper footwork ( inside and outside pivoting) on offense and defense, triple threat position, and progression dribbling will be some of the skills participants will be learning.
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt and a Tomorrow’s Stars basketball.l There may be an award ceremony where some campers will receive trophies for outstanding accomplishments for the week. There will also be giveaways during the week. Some of the individual awards include campers of the day, free throw, hustle, most valuable player, and others.
This is highly recommended and we encourage it.
A snack bar will be available at the Day Camps and lunch is included. Items included will be ice-cold sodas, bottled water, Gatorade, snacks, and gum. Lunch is included at locations and is posted on the brochure if available.
